Structure:

The podcast begins with a pre-recorded introduction, lasting 14 seconds, to Moody Radio accompanied by music before transitioning into a different song that plays for a few seconds as the presenter begins their introduction to the podcast before it fades out.

The presenter's introduction includes a greeting to the audience, the time and date as well as a mention of who the guest is (Bob Waliszewksi) before the presenter greets the guest. They proceed to have a brief conversation involving small talk before diverting the conversation towards the first movie to be reviewed - The Dark Tower.

Bob begins his review with a bit of information about the movie such as the age-rating (PG-13), a brief synopsis, as well as mentions of some of the actors within the movie. He then goes on to state what his expectations of the movie were going into it before giving his rating on it (2.5) and stating that he does not deem the movie family friendly as it would at least need to be a 3 on his rating skill to be so. After that, he voices his final opinion on the movie.

The presenter then shifts the topic to The Emoji Movie and asks Bob to expand on the subject. Bob goes on to state what place it came in the box office (2nd) and how much it made before weighing the pros and cons of the movie. He begins with explaining that the good part is it is family friendly with a rating of 3.5, but that from an adult perspective it was not very entertaining. He then continues to say that kids will likely enjoy it however he did not and neither did 93% of movie critics on Rotten Tomatoes. The presenter then brings up the movie's lack of an advanced screening for Bob to elaborate on which prompts him to comment on the success of the movie's trailer to get people to watch the movie despite having not seen any reviews due to there not being an advanced screening.

The review having been brought to a close, the presenter then promotes Bob's website and app before signing off.

Tone/Style:

The tone of the podcast is informal with the presenter and guest giving off a quite relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It is also moderately fast paced with the guest and presenter keeping to the topic throughout the podcast. Considering that the movies were rated by how family friendly they were, I would say that the target audience is families, parents in particular as they would most likely be researching the movies best suited for their families.

Presenters/Guests:

There was only one guest on the podcast - Bob Waliszewski. Bob is the director of the Focus on the Family's Media and Culture department and hosts a daily radio feature where he reviews movies, video games, music and apps. This makes him a relevant guest on the podcast as he is familiar with reviewing movies.

The presenter is a rather amicable character which in turn creates a quite informal atmosphere for the podcast. Furthermore, they allow their guest as much time as they need to say what they want to and prompt further discussion with aspects that hadn't been brought to attention.

Music/Sound Effects:

No sound effects were used within the podcast. There was only music towards the beginning of the podcast during the pre-recorded introduction as well as when the presenter was greeting the audience. The music used in the pre-recorded introduction has a quite fast paced tempo. The music playing when the presenter begins to talk is quite easy-listening and slightly slower/more relaxing.
